INSTALLATION

FAN INSTALLATION / REMOVAL

  Install the thermodisc by sliding it into the bracket as shown below in 

Diagram 4.

   Thermodisc should be installed with red wires front and back as show

below in Diagram 5.

Before you begin:
 Shut off the gas supply to the unit. 
 Disconnect all electrical supply to the unit. 
 Always let the appliance cool to room temperature before servicing. 

Thermodisc

Note:  Instructions on installation are only required if fan was not installed 

with L390E/ L540E or HZI390E/HZI540E only. To access the side and 
rear access panels both the gas and venting (see vent/fl ue installa-
tion in this manual) will need to be disconnected for proper removal.  
There is no access to the blower from the front of this appliance.

   Position gasket between fan and back access panel as shown below in 

Diagram 2. Secure fan and gasket to back access panel with 3 screws.

  Connect the wires from the wire harness to the fan terminals (see 

Diagram 7a)and connect the other end to the wires of the fan control b
(see Diagram 7b).
