VALVE ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT
1. Turn the unit off and allow it to cool down to room temperature.
2.
Turn off the gas supply
to the unit.
3. Remove trim.
5. Remove the glass wind shields (x2) by lifting them up and out- place both
on a soft surface.
6. Remove the two (2) burner end caps by lifting out as shown.
4. Remove the faceplate by lifting it up and off the unit.
7. Remove the pilot shield.
8. Remove any media (glass, etc) and log set, if installed.
9. Locate and remove 22 screws to remove the burner tray.
13. Ensure gas supply is OFF and remove flex connection at valve.
14. Remove orange EV1 wire and ground wire connected to the gas valve.
15. Remove green EV2 wire connected to the gas valve.
10. Lift burner tray off.
11. Remove 2 screws and slide burner tube to the left (away from the
orifice) to remove.
12. Remove 8 screws on valve access cover.
