10. Setting up the Model
Before starting with the assembly of the model, make sure the work surface is suitable. To achieve excellent flight performance, your model is made of light
moulded foam. The disadvantage of this material is, however, a sensitive surface. The slightest inattention when assembling the model can cause ugly dents or
even holes.
a) Mounting the Main Undercarriage
Push the undercarriage (1) into the fuselage through the intended opening (2)
from below. Ensure that the undercarriage is locked in the holder and cannot
fall out.
b) Installing the Elevator
Pull off the two protective adhesive film strips (2) on the top and bottom of the
elevator (1) (displayed in grey).
Push the elevator into the slot (1) at the end of the fuselage from behind. Open
it slightly fort his to ensure that the adhesive tape does not inadvertently stick
to the wrong place.
Important:
The rudder horn (2) must be on the right rudder blade and pointing
downwards.
