8. Assembling the Model
Before assembling the model, please read each individual section carefully. The construction stages are illustrated for better understanding.
Please note that the numbers in the text always refer to the components in the illustration to the right.
Only carry out the steps described in the different sections if you have completely understood the procedure and know exactly what to observe.
b) Mounting the Aileron Linkage
Extend the control line for the aileron servo (1) by approx. 250 mm to be able to
later insert it into the wing.
Use the integrated thread (2) to pull the extended servo cable through the
cable duct to the centre of the wing and use two screws to attach the servo (3)
to the wing.
Our advice:
To prevent the plug connection from getting loose, use heat-shrink
tube or adhesive tape.
To be able to later glue together the wing halves, you need to make a small cut-
out (2) for the aileron servo extension (1) in the underside of the wing.
Attach two servo horns as shown in the figure on the side.
Make sure that the linkage connector (1) can be rotated easily but is still in-
stalled tight enough on the servo arm.
Our advice:
To prevent the screw connection from getting loose, it is advisable
to secure it with a drop of instant adhesive on the nut (2).
