I. PRIOR TO FIRST USE
Carefully remove the unit and its accessories from the packaging. Dispose of all packag
-
ing materials and promotional stickers.
Keep all warning labels, warning stickers (if any), and the serial number identification label
located on the housing. The absence of the serial number will deprive you of your warranty
benefits!
Completely unwind the power cord. Wipe the unit with a moist cloth. Rinse the remov
-
able details with soapy water; dry all elements of the appliance before plugging in.
Unwanted odour during the first use doesn’t signify the appliance defect.
After transportation or storage at low temperatures allow the appliance to stay at room
temperature for at least 2 hours before use.
Place the appliance on a hard, even and horizontal surface so that the escaping hot
steam does not fall on wallpaper, decorative coatings, electronic devices or any other
objects or materials that could be damaged by humidity, or high temperatures.
Ensure that outer and visible inner parts of the appliance are not damaged, do not have
chips and other defects.
Before using the appliance as intended, perform the heating cycle with the empty
sandwich maker (having preliminarily fixed the working plates) to remove technical
protective oil. Then unplug the appliance, let cool down and clean according to section
"Cleaning and maintenance". This process should be performed for each set of the
removable plates.
II. OPERATION
Replacement of the removable metal plates
1. Open the main lid.
2.
Press the lock-on buttons alternately on the housing of the appliance and remove
the metal plates.
3.
Fix the selected removable plates into the appliance so that the perforations on the
plates align with the slots in the housing. Carefully press the plates until they click.
DO NOT replace the metal plates if the appliance is plugged in.
Use of the appliance
1. Plug in the appliance. Red power indicator will light up solid. When the appliance
reaches the required temperature the green indicator will light up solid. The
appliance is ready for operation. You can use the appliance irrespectively of green
indicator lighting if the appliance is plugged in.
If the green indicator goes out during operation that means the Keep Warm function
was automatically enabled.
2. Open the appliance. Depending on the type of adjusted plates put ingredients for
sandwiches, the dough for waffles or products for cooking on a grill onto the lower
heating surface (meat, vegetables, etc.). Ensure the plates are not overfilled.
