Troubleshooting
The following is a general list of troubleshooting tips you may encounter while operating your
aircraft. This is meant as a guide only. If you are encountering problems not described below,
contact your local Redcat dealer. You can also contact Redcat customer support directly through
the phone number listed at the bottom of each page in your owners handbook.
Adjust elevator trim switch on transmitter.
Aircraft does not gain altitude
Check battery strength. Aircraft will not
operate with too low a battery strength.

Check battery strength. Servos will not
operate with too low a battery strength.
Check battery strength and installation in
both transmitter and receiver.
Check installation of servos into receiver
Check receiver and crystal installation

Aircraft does not fly correctly
Ensure no one else is operating another
vehicle on the same radio frequency
Check battery strength and installation in
both transmitter and receiver.
Check installation of servos into receiver
Adjust trim switches on radio transmitter
for either elevator or rudder
Aircraft does not operate
Aircraft "glitches" during pre-
flight check
Double-check proper location for Center of
Gravity (CoG)
Inspect aircraft for damage to
elevator/rudder linkages
Operating Range is Short
Inspect reveiver antenna for damage
Check battery strength and installation in
both transmitter and receiver.
Ensure transmitter antenna is fully
extended and not damaged.
