Maintenance
The teeth on the saw chain are very sharp!
Wear protective gloves when handling the chain.
An incorrectly attached saw chain will cause the power tool
to cut in an uncontrolled manner!
When attaching the chain, observe the running direction!
Changing saw rail and saw chain
Place the pole saw on any suitable flat surface.
• Unscrew the hand wheel anti-clockwise until the saw rail can
be moved by hand

(see Figure 10).
• Turn the chain tensioning wheel clockwise to push the saw
rail as far as possible onto the chain wheel

• Detach the hand wheel

and remove the chain cover

Figure 11).
• Place saw chain around the saw rail starting on the upper
part of the rail. Slide the chain in the slot around the saw rail.
When attaching the chain, ensure that it is in the correct
running direction.
• Place the saw chain around the chain wheel

(see Figure 12).
• Place elongated hole of the saw rail on the stud bolt and the
guide bolt

• Attach the chain guard

(see Figure 13).
• Tighten the hand wheel slightly
