Blade Selection Summary

To see how TPI and width of the blade come 
together, use the table opposite for reference.
•  Regularly examine the blade for excessive 

damage or cracking as a result of fatigue. If 
such damage is present replace the blade.

•  It is important to use a sharp blade. Dull teeth 

result in increased feed pressure producing a 
poor quality finish and an inaccurate cut.

7.9 Record Power BS400 Blade Range

Record Power’s high performance bandsaw 
blades are manufactured to the highest quality 
tolerances using a specialist premium high carbon 
steel strip. The extensive quality control program 
which involves digital tooth profile checks, set 
analysis, straightness testing, hardness testing 
and micro structural analysis results in a blade 
that cuts straighter and has harder, longer lasting 
teeth. A premium British blade that can last up to 
ten times longer than other blades on the market.
