Arming and Disarming Alarm (Turn Alarm Function ON and OFF)
Press
Alarm 1
or
Alarm 2 Button
to arm or disarm alarm function. When armed, the related alarm icon appears in the
display.
Resetting the Alarm to Come on the Next Day
When the alarm is sounding, press the related
Alarm Button
or the
Power Button
to stop the alarm and reset it to come on
the following day.
Snooze
Press the
Snooze/Dimmer Button
after the alarm sounds. The alarm will be silenced and come on again after nine
minutes. Snooze can be pressed several times during the 1 hour alarm cycle.
Sure Alarm
The unit has a sure alarm feature so the buzzer alarm will still sound in the event of power failure, if backup battery is installed.
Radio
Antenna Information
AM – The AM bar antenna is inside the cabinet. If AM reception is unsatisfactory try turning the cabinet until you find the position
that provides the best reception.
FM – Extend the telescoping FM rod antenna on the back cabinet to its full length. You may have to vary the direction of the antenna
until you find the position that provides the best reception.
Tuning and Playing the Radio
a) Press the
Mode Button
as needed to select FM or AM radio band, indicated by the FM or AM icon on the display.
b) Turn the
Tuning Knob
on the right side of the unit to tune radio to a desired station. The time display changes to radio
frequency during tuning. After five seconds the display returns to the current time.
c) Turn the
Volume Knob
to adjust unit volume up or down.
d) Press the
Power Button
to turn the unit off.
Using the Line-in Jack
a) Use a standard stereo audio cable with 3.5 mm plugs (available at
www.ihomeaudio.com
) to play your audio device
through the Line-in Jack (connect one end in the device’s line out or headphones jack, the other in the line-in jack located
on the rear of the unit).
b) Press the
Power Button
to turn on the unit.
c) To listen to your audio device, press the
Mode Button
until
LINE-IN
is displayed, indicating line-in mode.
d) Place your audio device in play mode.
e) Turn the
Volume Knob
to adjust the volume on the unit. You may need to adjust the output volume on your line-in device,
too.
f) When you are done listening, press the
Power Button
to turn off the unit. Remember to turn off your audio device, too.
