2. Press the “ ” or “ ” button to select a value for each

parameter in turn, and then press ALARM button to confirm and

move on to the next parameter.

step will time-out with any changes saved.

Alarm Parameters:

•  Alarm Name- Alarm 1 or Alarm2

•  On time – hours and minutes

•  Alarm Type (Source) –Buzzer | DAB | FM.

•  Alarm Volume Level –from „5” to „32”

Arming and Disarming Alarms (Turn the alarms on and off)

1. Set the ALARM On/Off switch on the back of unit to „ON”

position to turn the alarms on, the alarm icons “    ” will

appear on the display.

2.  Set the ALARM On/Off switch to „OFF” position to turn the

alarms off, the alarm icons will disappear.

Notes:

•

The alarms will not be activated if the Alarm on/off switch

is set at „OFF” position, to ensure the alarm function works

properly, make sure that the Alarm On/Off switch is set at

„ON” position.

•  When the alarm set time is on, the alarm will sound, quietly

at first, then gradually building up to the set volume. When

an alarm sounds, the relevant alarm icon in the display

flashes.

•  To ensure the alarm function works properly, make sure that

the volume level is set at a proper position before turning off

the unit.

•  If the DAB or FM alarm type is selected, the alarm will turn on

and broadcast the last channel before turning off the unit.

•  Press the

 /

button to cancel the Alarm when it is

activated.

Snooze Function

When the alarm is activated (waking you), press the SNOOZE/DIM/

TIME SET button will stop the alarm one time, a quick glance of

„SNOOZE 9” displays and then disappears.

The alarm will sound again after 9 minutes (default nap time).

 DAB MODE

DAB radio mode receives DAB/DAB+ digital radio and displays

information about the station.

1. Fully extend the pigtail antenna.

2. Short press the

 /

button repeatedly to select DAB mode.

Note:

for the first time use or if the station list is empty, the radio auto

-

matically performs a full scan to see what stations are available,

the display shows the scan progress and the total channel number

during the scanning.

3. When the scan progress is completed, it will then set the time

and start playing the first station on the station list it finds.

4. To change the station, press “ ” or “ ” buttons to scroll

through the list of stations. The Playing screen is displayed

with the new station details.

5. If no stations are detected during the scan the display will

show “OFF AIR”.

Notes:

1. Just like Digital TV there are some areas where it may still

be difficult to get a good DAB signal. The broadcasters are

constantly improving DAB coverage, so in some cases it may

be necessary to wait before some or all DAB services become

available. You can check coverage for your area.

2. You may also need to start a scan manually to update the list of

stations for one of the following reasons:

•  New stations may become available from time to time.

•  Stations close or can no longer be received.

•  If you have poor reception of some stations causing the

audio to break up, you may wish to list only stations with

good signal strength.
