5.6.1.6 Set-up sub-menu <6> Profile
It is possible to store settings in the form of a profile. This facilitates
the saving of a corresponding profile for the different code types and
sizes that must be checked. With this, it is no longer necessary to
change the respective settings, but rather only select the correct
profile. This means there is no requirement for a standard user to
change the settings. However, a standard user is always able to
select a profile from the list.
The profile itself can either be created and managed via
TransWin32 or (if the TransWin32 option is not activated) the
service program. Via these two options, it is also possible to export
profiles (to back up the profiles or pass these on to other
colleagues), import or delete them.
Via menu 6. Profile, it is then possible to select one of the available
profiles.
Please refer to chapter 5.8.1 Creating profiles with the Service Tool

in this regard. To manage the profiles in TransWin32 please also refer to
the TransWin32 manual.
5.7 Operation with the PC program REA TransWin32
By enabling the licensed function TransWin32 it is also possible to operate the REA ScanCheck 3n
via the computer software TransWin32.
Please refer to the TransWin32 manual in this regard.
All settings independently implemented on the device can also be set via the menu structure in
TransWin32. The menu structure can be more clearly arranged on the PC than on the small display
available directly on the device.
Furthermore, some functions are only possible via TranWin32, such as
-
Printout of the test report on a Windows printer
-
With the aid of a pdf creator it is possible to print out and save the test report in pdf format
-
User management: it is possible to create different users to prevent each user being able to
change the settings on the device, or to identify which user has performed a measurement. It is
possible to specify two user hierarchies here: the normal user and the administrator. User
management can be set via TransWin32 or alternatively also with the service program. More
detailed information can be found in the chapter 5.8.2 User management with the Service Tool

and in the TransWin32 manual.
