Changing the batteries
The unit can respond strangely when batteries are changed. To prevent this, it is important
that the unit be without current for at least 30 seconds before the new batteries are
inserted. (Programmed codes will not be lost.)
What can happen is that the buzzer sounds constantly or that the codes do not work.
1.
Remove both batteries.
2.
Press
six numbers in succession to reset the battery warning and to discharge the
voltage converter on the circuit board.
3.
Leave the unit without power for at least 30 seconds.
4.
Insert the batteries and screw the unit together.
If a factory reset is desired, it is suitable to do it at this time. See ”Master reset” on
page 14.
