Master reset
Default settings:
•
System code: 1234
•
Battery warning with sound: On
•
Lock opening time: 5 seconds
•
Beep on opening: Off
•
Code for activating and deactivating access code 0: None
Recommendation: Change the default system code to your own code as soon as
possible. (See ”Changing the system code” on page 12.)
If the system code is known
This procedure deletes all programmed codes and restores default settings.
1.
Set the unit to programming mode by entering the
system code.
2.
Press 9 (menu selection), then #.
3.
Press 1 to confirm master reset.
Confirm again with #. A beep confirms the reset.
If the system code is not known
If the system code has been lost, the below procedure is the only possibility to change the
unit’s programming. All programmed codes will be erased, and factory settings will be
restored, including the system code 1234.
1.
Loosen the battery cover and remove the batteries.
2.
Press
six numbers in succession to reset the battery warning and to
discharge the voltage converter on the circuit board.
3.
Press and hold 0 while reinserting one of the batteries. Then release 0.
4.
Press 1, then #, to confirm the master reset.
One red flash confirms the
change.
5.
Connect the other battery.
6.
To exit, press 0, then #.
