Entering a code for activating and deactivating access code 0
Below are instructions for specifying a code that can be used to activate or deactivate
“access code 0” (where the door unlocks when 0 is pressed, instead of having to enter a
code as usual).
The code itself will not open the door. It’s zero (0) that opens the door.
1.
Set the unit to programming mode by entering the
system code.
2.
Press 3 (menu selection), then #.
3.
Enter the desired code, 3–6 digits.
Confirm with #. A beep confirms the change.
4.
To exit, press 0, then #.
Activating access code 0
1.
Enter the code (see above) for activating and deactivating access code 0.
2.
Confirm with star (*).
The lock can now be opened by pressing 0.
Deactivating access code 0
1.
Enter the code (see above).
2.
Confirm with #.
The lock can no longer be opened by pressing 0.
