Cut out ailerons under an angle. Swap left and right, that creates a beveled edge.
•
Glue the ailerons to the edge using Foam-Tac. The glue creates strong and flexible hinges.
•
Keeping the ailerons folded up, place a packing tape around the fold. That way the tape creates
a nice hinge on both the top and the bottom of the ailerons (see Error: Reference source not
found).

Repeat the same process with the elevator.
•
Press the edge of a bamboo skewer across the leading edge of the horizontal stabilizer so that
the skewer is half-buried in the foam. Press the top and bottom of the leading edge to match the
thickness of the bamboo skewer. Make a nice airfoil-shaped leading edge around the skewer
(see Fig. 2)
