INSTRUCTIONS fOR USE
Important
: In order to keep your watch water-resistant,
and after any adjustment, always push the crown back
in to the normal position (
I
).
NB
: Your RAYMOND WEIL watch may be fitted with a screw-down
crown. This means that before making any adjustments, it is nec-
essary to unscrew the crown by turning it anticlockwise. The crown
will then be released by a spring. After completing all settings, push
the crown back in to position (I) and screw it back in gently in order
to preserve your watch’s water-resistance.
Rapid adjustment of the date
1.
Pull the crown out to position (
II
).
2.
Depending on the model of your watch, turn the
crown in one direction or the other until the desired
date appears in the window.
3.
Push the crown back in to position (
I
).
NB
: During this operation, your watch continue to function and
therefore does not need a time adjustment.
Warning
: never attempt rapid correction of the date when
your watch indicates a time between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. The
mechanism for changing the date automatically engages during
this period and there would be a risk of damaging the movement.
Between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m. it is preferable to change the date by
turning the hours and minutes hands (crown in position
III
) until
the desired date is displayed.
