WARNING
1.
Never insert fingers, pencils or other objects through the grille when fan is running.
2.
Disconnect fan when moving from one place to another.
3.
Disconnect fan when removing grilles for cleaning.
4.
Make sure the fan is on a stable surface when using it to avoid tipping.
5.
DO NOT wet the fan, could create an electrical safety hazard.
ASSEMBLY
1.
Attach the fan base to the fan body, using the 4 screws included.
2.
Place the fan base on a firm, stable surface such as a table or counter top.
3.
Discard the plastic sleeve from the shaft.
4.
Secure the rear grille to the motor housing with the plastic nut. The handle should be at the top. Turn clockwise to
tighten.
5.
Slide the blade onto the shaft pin and push until it is firmly in place.
6.
Test the blade operation by rotating it with your hand. There should be no friction with the other parts. If the blade
does not rotate freely, repeat steps 4-5.
7.
Place blade cap on shaft pin and turn counter-clockwise until tight.
8.
Ensure that the latches on either side of the rear grille are open. Place front and rear grille together and close the side
latches. If they do not fit securely together, repeat the procedure.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Set the fan base on a dry level surface
2.
Ensure that the speed control knob is in the ON/OFF position. Plug the electric power cord into the 240V AC electrical
outlet (wall power socket).
3.
To turn on the fan, push the desired fan speed setting button (1/low, 2/medium, 3/high)
4.
To turn off the fan, push the ON/OFF button.
5.
To oscillate the fan, push down on the oscillation knob.
6.
To stop oscillation, pull up on the oscillation knob.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
1.
Be sure not to allow water or other liquid into the engine during cleaning.
2.
The plastic parts should be cleaned with mild soap and a damp cloth or sponge.
3.
To disassemble each part, reverse the mounting procedure.
