GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read all instructions carefully, before using this appliance.

• To prevent a hazard. If the electrical cable of this appliance is damaged, the appropriate cable set must be replaced by a 

qualified electrician.

• Do not use this appliance in conjunction with a programmable timer or any other automatic switch device as this may result in 

a fire hazard.

• This appliance is for household use only and should be plugged into a220V-240V electrical outlet.

• Do not position the appliance directly below a power socket.

• Only use the voltage specified on the rating label of the appliance.

• Do not cover or restrict the airflow as the appliance may overheat and this could lead to a fire hazard.

• Do not cover grilles, block entry or restrict the air flow.

• Do not place the appliance close to a radiant heat source.

• Do not operate in areas where gasoline, paint or other flammable liquids are used or stored.

• Do not insert foreign objects into the ventilation shafts, as this may result in electric shock, fire or damage to the appliance.

• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquid.

• Do not use this appliance on a wet surface,near water sources like bathrooms, laundry, showers, swimming pools or areas with 

excessive moisture.

• Do not attempt to retrieve the appliance if it has fallen into water. Switch off the power supply and unplug immediately.

• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after the appliance malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in 

any manner. Consult a qualified electrician for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, service or repair.

• Do not operate appliance with wet hands.

• Use this appliance only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may result in fire, 

electric shock or personal injury.

• Do not use an extension cord with this appliance unless approved by manufacturer. 

• Do not remove plug from power socket until the appliance has been switched off.

• Always unplug the appliance when not in use.

• Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with heated surfaces during operation.

• Do not run the power cord under carpeting. Do not cover the power cord with throw rugs, runners or the like.

• Place the power cord away from high traffic areas, where it will not be tripped over.

• Do not twist, kink or wrap the cord around the appliance, as this may cause the insulation to weaken and spilt. Always ensure 

that the entire cord has been unraveled fully, before use.

• Do not use outdoors or whilst standing on a damp floor.

• The most common cause of overheating is dust entering the appliance. Ensure that these deposits are removed regularly by 

unplugging the appliance and cleaning the air vents and grilles with a vacuum cleaner.

• Always operate on a fíat horizontal,stable surface.

• Do not use this appliance in a window as moisture from rain may cause electric shock.

• Do not use abrasive cleaning products on this appliance.Use a damp cloth that has been rinsed in hot soapy water only. Always 

remove plug from the main power supply, before cleaning.

• Do not connect the appliance to the main power supply, until completely assembled and adjusted.

• This appliance is intended for household use only and not for commercial or industrial use.

• During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice a slight odour, This is normal and will quickly disappear.

• The Fan is not intended for use by persons(including children) with reduced physical,sensory or mental capabilities or lack of 

experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the Fan by a person 

responsible for their safety.Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the Fan.
