The unit is fitted with a spark arrestor which complies with USDA - Forest
service standard S100-1C. The spark arrestor (fitted to the Exhaust outlet
of the muffler) should be cleaned with a soft wire brush after every 50
hours or every 6 months of use. Replace with a new spark arrestor after
every 100 hours of operation.
Spark Arrestor Service
NOTICE
Follow below steps to maintain and clean the spark arrester when the
muffler is cool.
1. Disassemble spark arrester
a. Remove two self tapping screws

from the muffler.
b. Remove the spark arrester

from the exhaust port, see images below.
2. Maintain the spark arrester
Check the carbon deposit around the spark arrester. Clean with a wire
brush if necessary.
(Attention: clean with care to avoid any damage or scratch.)
5. Spark arrester must be serviced every 100hrs to maintain its e ffic iency.
3. Replace the spark arrestor if there are any breaks or tears.
4. Install the spark arrester in the reverse order of removal.
