RESURFACING

Adding more water to the surface of your RAVE EZ Set Ice

Rink and allowing it to freeze will refresh the ice surface

smoothly.  It is recommended that you avoid resurfacing your

ice until late in the afternoon or at night after you are done

skating for the day. When resurfacing you should evenly

spread a shallow layer of water across the entire rink area to

maintain a level, smooth skating surface. Consistently

resurfacing your ice will give you a harder top layer of ice that

will be less prone to cracking.
To remove minor cracks in the ice: Scrape enough ice shavings

with your skate or grab snow if available and pack it in the

crack tightly and wet it down. Use a puck, smooth over the ice
surface until smooth and level with the rest of the ice surface.

REMOVING YOUR ICE RINK

Allow ice to thaw completely with spring thaws. Tip down the

side of the liner in the lowest point of the ground slope and let

the water run off the liner.

1. Completely dry all parts of the unit.

2. Clean and store following instruction on page 11.
