WARNING!
When the steam ironing is used, the water may leak out from the iron hot shoe, if the selected
temperature is too low. If this happens, turn the temperature controller to the recommended position. Steam
ironing may be resumed once the right temperature is reached.
Steam burst
The feature provides an additional amount of steam for stubborn creases removal.
Fill the iron with water.
Turn the temperature controller to ‘MAX’.
The control lamp will go off, when the required temperature is reached.
The iron is ready for use.
Press the steam burst button once (the steam permeates the clothing and removes creases).
Wait a few seconds before pressing the steam button. Usually, all creases may be removed with
three presses.
Anti-Calc
The Anti-Calc feature filters minerals from the water to prevent them from setting in the steam chamber.
Self-Clean
Use the Self-Clean feature to remove contamination and scale.
Use the feature once every two weeks. If the water used in the iron is very hard, the Self-Clean feature should
be used more frequently.
1.
Disconnect the iron from the power source.
2.
Turn the steam level controller to ‘0.’
3.
Fill the water reservoir to the maximum level.
4.
Select the maximum ironing temperature.
5.
Insert the plug into the socket.
6.
Unplug the iron when the lamp switch off.
7.
Hold the iron over the sink, press and hold the Self-Cleaning button, and gently shake the iron. The
steam and hot water, together with the contamination and scale, will fall out through the holes (if
there is any).
8.
Release the Self-Cleaning button as soon as the entire water in the reservoir is used.
9.
The self-cleaning process should be repeated, if the iron is still heavily contaminated.
