Network connection

Notes on network connection
The network connection allows you to connect the unit to your network, in or-
der to connect the unit to ConnectedCooking.
Ethernet connection (Local Area Network)
n
Optionally, the unit can be ordered or retrofitted with an Ethernet connec-
tion.
n
The retrofit kit is available from the manufacturer under article number
87.01.643S.
n
Use at least one Category 6 network cable to connect to the network, spe-
cification: CAT-6.
n
The network connection is located on the rear of the unit.
n
A detailed description of the connection to the network can be found in the
original operating instructions.
WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network)
The built-in WLAN adapter is a market-dependent option that is not available in
every country.
n
For units of the iVario2-XS series WLAN is optionally available.
n
The units in the iVario Pro2-S series come with WLAN as standard.
7.2
Connecting the unit to the network
Connecting the Ethernet cable (LAN)
1. Unscrew the LAN connection.
2. Unscrew the cap.
3. Remove the sealing plugs.
4. Push the Ethernet cable through the union nut.
5. Push the Ethernet cable through the rubber grommet.
6. Insert the rubber grommet back into the clamp ring.
7. Plug the Ethernet cable into the socket.
8. Screw in the connection.
9. Tighten the cap.
