Connect the other end of the cross over cable to the LAN port of a
Windows PC.
Configuring Your Computer for Local Access
1.
On the PC connected to the Raritan PM go to
Control Panel
, then
Network Connections
(for PCs running versions of Windows prior
to Windows XP, this may be under
Settings
,
Control Panel
,
Network and Dialup Connections
).

Right click on the appropriate connection (e.g. Local Area
Connections) and click
Properties
.
3.
Select the “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)” item and click
Properties
.
4.
Select Use The Following IP Address and then enter the following
data:
IP Address: 192.168.123.1
Net Mask: 255.255.255.0
