Measurement

Method

Measurement Process.

WARNING!

Turn on the RAP300 in a “clean air” environment

away from the test area. Failure to do so may

cause the RAP300 to display error.

1) Turn the RAP300 on by pressing the      key.

    The RAP300 will begin a 30 second

    countdown. During this countdown the

sensor is being self-tested and set to zero.

2) After the countdown is complete the RAP300

will display “0000” and enter normal

operation. The unit can also be set to Zero by

a short press of the SET / ZERO key

3) Enter the area and begin testing. As a leak is

found the concentration will be displayed on

the LCD in PPM or %LEL

4) To locate the source of a leak, move along

the pipe, fitting, etc. being tested.

5) If the leak concentration is above the alarm

level the alarm will sound and vibrate

(if the vibration is turned on)
