Navigation buttons and pad

Stylus and Stylus Holder

The stylus is used on the touchscreen to select functions within the ITMS™ software. The stylus holder provides a
convenient place to store the stylus when not in use.

Desorber and Desorber Cover

The desorber is attached to the front of the device during particle mode operation and the desorber cover is
installed over the desorber to provide protection. When a sample trap is inserted into the detection slot, press one
of the green trigger buttons which signals the ITMS™ software to start an analysis; the trap reaches the required
temperature in 1 to 2 seconds. The desorber vaporizes any particles that have been collected by the sample trap.

NOTE:

During continuous use, the desorber may become contaminated with low volatile material and
should be cleaned weekly.

Filter/Pump Cover

The filter/pump cover enables access to the sample pump and sample pump filter.

The sample filter is checked monthly.
