5. Insert a new sample filter.
6. Rotate the filter housing clockwise.
7. Replace the filter cover and four screws.
Power Up the Device
Press the power button so the device is ON, and allow it to warm up.
Burn in the Membrane
1. Log onto the ITMS™ software.
2. Burn in the membrane.

Perform a Calibration and Verification
1. Perform a calibration and verification.
( see "Calibration and Verification" on page 23)
2. Ensure there are no alarms or warnings.
Return to Operation
Make all entries in your device’s maintenance log as directed by your administrator.
As-Needed Maintenance
To keep the device operating at peak performance, the procedures listed in this section should be performed as-
needed.
CAUTION: When maintaining the device, you must wear clean cotton gloves and use only Rapiscan
Systems-supplied consumables, parts, and supplies.
NOTE: The ability to perform some maintenance procedures may depend upon the privilege levels
assigned.
