Burn In Membrane
Heats the detector to maximum temperatures to accelerate cleaning of the membrane.
NOTE:
A minimum burn-in time of 4 hours is recommended.
1. Select Menu > Burn In Membrane.
A message verifying you want to burn-in the membrane displays.
2. Select Yes to initiate a 4-hour burn-in.
A 4-hour timer displays. You are logged off the device when the burn-in is complete.
Exit ITMS/Standby
Enables you to put the device in
Standby or Hibernate mode, as well as exit the ITMS™ software to the Windows
desktop.
1. Select Menu > Exit/Standby.

2. Press one of the following:

Exit ITMS™
to exit the ITMS™ software to the Windows
®
desktop.
•
Standby
to put the device in standby mode. Standby mode is a battery-saving mode that can be
instantly restored to take samples. Standby saves approximately 5–10% of the battery life.
•
Hibernate
to put the device in hibernation mode. Hibernate mode manipulates the power, therefore,
recovery time is required to take a sample. Hibernate saves approximately 20–30% of the battery life.
3. Press Yes to confirm the mode.
To exit
Standby or Hibernation mode, touch the touchscreen, or press one of the control buttons.
