Super Freeze Mode
Purpose
•
To freeze prepared foods.
• To freeze fresh food quickly to retain freshness.
•
Large food shop, this mode ensures food is frozen
quickly, and therefore retains nutrients and taste.
•
High quality meat/fish, again by quickly freezing the
produce nutrients are retained and taste is preserved
Note:
This mode has a duration of 6 hours or 48 hours to
complete the operation.
6 Hour Super Freeze
•
To enter the super freeze function, press the
corresponding “
Super Freeze
” key (
Fig. 2.2
).
•
The unit defaults to the 6 hour, super freeze, time mode.
48 Hour Super Freeze
If you need to enter the 48 hour super freeze function, you
also need to do the following:
•
Whilst in the super freeze function, continue to hold
the “
Super Freeze
” key and “
TEMPERATURE
” key for 5
seconds.
• The current super freeze time will be displayed (unit:
hours). The remaining icons are not displayed.
• Press the “ TEMPERATURE ” key to set the super freeze
duration. The display alternates between 48 hours and
6 hours.
•
To store your selected time press the “
unlock
” button
for 3 seconds or, if there is no operation detected within
5 seconds, the currently selected time will be stored.
Frozen mode takes effect immediately after you have finished
setting, and automatically exits and returns to normal control
when the super freeze time is set.
Holiday Mode
Holiday mode can be used if the appliance is to be left for an
extended period, for example, whilst on holiday.
To activate holiday mode, press the “
MODE
” button for 3
seconds, to unlock. Scroll through the functions, using the
“
MODE
” button, until “
Holiday
” is selected.
WHILST IN HOLIDAY MODE ALL FOOD SHOULD BE
REMOVED FROM THE FRIDGE COMPARTMENT.
Whilst in holiday mode the freezer temperature will default
to -18°C. The fridge will default to +8°C, which is too warm, to
preserve any food.
Cancel Holiday Mode
To de-activate holiday mode, press the “
MODE
” button for 3
seconds, to unlock. Scroll the functions to de-select “
Holiday
”.
