Operating your Freezer
Freezer Temperature Set Button
This button allows setting temperature of the freezer. In order
to set values for the freezer, press the button (
Fig. 3.2
).
•
The initial temperature of the setting display is -18 °C.
• The value for the freezer compartment will change to
a lower temperature each time this button is pressed
while the indicator is flashing. ( -16 °C, -17 °C, -18 °C, -19
°C, -20 °C, -21 °C, -22 °C, -23 °C, -24 °C)
•
After reaching the desired temperature, wait for 5
seconds without pressing any buttons. Your freezer will
now operate at that temperature.
•
If you continue to press the button after the value for
the freezer compartment reaches -24 °C (maximum cold
position), the temperature values will start again from
-16 °C.
Recommended Temperature Values for Freezer (Table 3.1)
Super Freeze Mode
When would it be used?
• To freeze large quantities of food.
• To freeze fast food.
•
To freeze food quickly.
•
To store seasonal food for a long time.
To use the super freeze mode press the temperature set
button until super freeze light comes on ( Fig. 3.3 ). To cancel
press the temperature set button the setting will be restored
to -18°C.
DO NOT
exceed the maximum load for freezing – which is
given as 21 kg / 24 hours (see data badge for details).
For optimal appliance performance in maximum freezer
capacity, set the appliance to active super freeze mode 24
hours before you put the fresh food into the freezer.
NOTE:
The super freezing mode will be cancelled
automatically after 24 hours or when the freezer sensor
temperature falls below -32 °C.
Temperature Settings Warnings
•
It is not recommended that you operate your freezer in
environments colder than 10°C in terms of its efficiency.
•
Do not start another adjustment before completing one
adjustment.
• Temperature adjustments should be made according
to the frequency of door openings, the quantity of food
kept inside the freezer and the ambient temperature in
the location of your freezer.
• In order to allow your appliance to reach the operating
temperature after being connected to mains, do not
open the door frequently or place large quantities of
