Testing the frequency reference board

)
Remove the board from the instrument.
Reinsert board and extension card.
Connect the output to be tested to the spectrum analyzer using an adapter cable and
adapter SMA-N.
Set the frequencies listed in the table.
Check signals according to following table.

Reference
The board must be replaced if the signal is more than 2 dB below the stated nominal level.
Connect the frequency reference output of the spectrum analyzer to X107 (REF_10_OUTIN) using
an adapter cable and adapter SMA-N.
Connect X105 or X106 (SY1_REF or. SY2_REF) to the spectrum analyzer using an adapter cable
and adapter SMA-N.
The 128 MHz signal
’s frequency must precisely equal its nominal frequency.
If the frequency differs in any way (e.g. 128.001 MHz), replace the board.
