2.3.3 Connecting an External Monitor
You can connect an external monitor at the MONITOR connector on the instrument's rear
panel.
After connecting the external monitor, restart the instrument to detect the monitor. The
measurement display will then appear on both the external screen and on the instrument. No
further settings are necessary.
If the external monitor is not recognized by the instrument, you have to activate it. This
requires a mouse and an external keyboard (the connection is described in sections
“ Connecting a Mouse” on page 2.11

Make sure that the external monitor is connected.

Press the
CTRL
+
ESC
key combination to display the taskbar.
➢
On the right side of the taskbar, click the monitor icon.
➢
Select
Graphics Options - Output To - Intel(R) Dual Display Clone -
M Digital Display.
When the instrument is switched on later without a monitor, the activation of the external
monitor is reset.
Do not connect a monitor unless the instrument is switched off (STANDBY). Otherwise, you
run the risk of damaging the monitor.
