Loading fasteners
Hold the tool in your right hand with the TM40
cradled in your left. Using your left thumb release
cover latch by pushing toward rear of tool

4. Open magazine
Pull the cover toward you while holding the
latch in the open position. The TM40 is now
in the open position and ready to accept a pin
strip

Insert fasteners
Insert the pin strip top end first into the
fastener guide ensuring the guide edge of the
strip is located in groove of spine

Close magazine
With the pin strip in place slowly/gently close
the cover fully to locked position

SAFETY WARNING
Never muzzle load fasteners
into tool fitted with TM40
magazine. Refer Safety
Precautions No. 25, page 4 of
this manual.
7.
Inserting power load strip
With the fastener strip loaded and the cover
closed you are now ready to insert the correct
power load. With the tool in the closed
position insert a power load strip into the
cavity in the base of the rubber handle
(Pic.
20)
and push it in until the flat of your
finger tip is firmly against the handle recess.
The first power load is now aligned with
the power load chamber prior to cocking.
The tool is ready for use.
