SETTING UP: DRILLING AT AN ANGLE OF 0° TO 45°

1) Loosen the fixing bolts of the locking clamp with the capstan wheel.

2) Incline the column at the desired angle. Securely retighten the fixing bolt.

The depth (or length) of the bore is restricted when drilling at an angle. It will be

necessary to use a bit extension.

MAINTENANCE

Always keep the rig clean, especially the column, the gear rack and the four rollers.

Never oil or grease these three components.

For the best results, the rollers to move the carriage must travel perfectly along the

 column.

Adjust the rollers as follows:

- Using two flat 19 mm spanners, loosen each of the nuts on the side of the

  carriage marked “E”.

- Retighten each of the nuts while ensuring that the hexagonal shafts are held

  in the previously determined positions.

Check the carriage for proper guidance and travel.

Oil the leveling screws of the base plate.

Dispose of your appliance, accessories and packaging in an environment-friendly

 manner.
