PREPARING FOR USE

To prevent health problems the RAMSET SG 125E concrete grinder must be

connected to an industrial vacuum cleaner (connection diameter 36 mm).

Best results are obtained if not too much pressure is exerted on the surface being

 ground.

For direct grinding against a wall the front end of the dust cap can be removed by

means of a turnbuckle.  This also makes it easier to work on less accessible places.

 Caution!

Any other grinding work may only take place with a completely fitted protective

cover.

The start-up limiter ensures the normal starting of the machine.

If permanently overloaded the motor overheats and the machine switches off.  In this

case the machine can only be used again after a cooling timed (3-5 minutes).

Changing the cup wheel

First and foremost the removable front of the dust cap must be removed.  Then open

the lock and remove the detachable front of the dust cap.  The spanner (1) Ø 32 can

now be used to lock the flange between the machine and the cup wheel.

The spanner (2) can be used to loosen the fixing nut.  Replacement takes place in

reverse order.

Changing the brush ring

When worn to 5mm the whole brush ring must be changed for a new one.  To do this

one loosens the three fixed brush ring fixing screws and the two screws of the front of

the brush ring to remove the brush.  The new brush ring is pressed in and one

retightens the five screws. (New brushes have a length of 15 mm.)
