It is necessary to become familiar with the location and purpose of each control
before operating the Mini-Skid.
ENGINE CONTROLS – DIESEL
1 – Throttle Control
2 – Low Fuel Warning
3 – Low Hydraulic Oil Light
4 – Engine Oil Pressure
Light
5 – Radiator Cover
6 – Hourmeter
7 – Ignition Switch
Throttle Control – When the control
lever is set down the engine is at
idle speed. Pushing the control up
increases engine speed.
Low Fuel Warning – This light
illuminates when the fuel level is low.
Stop the engine and add gasoline
immediately if the light comes on.
Low Hydraulic Oil Light – This light
illuminates if the hydraulic oil is low.
Stop the machine immediately and
add oil.
Engine Oil Pressure Light – This light
illuminates if the engine oil is low.
Stop the engine and add oil
immediately.
Radiator Cover – This plate allows
access to the radiator fill cap.
Remove the wing nut and cover to
check fluid level and fill. Always
replace cover before running
machine to avoid burns.
Hourmeter – The hour meter records
total machine hours. NOTE: The
hourmeter accumulates whenever
the machine key is not in the off
position.
Ignition Switch – The ignition switch
is a four-position switch. Turn the
key counter-clockwise and hold it to
warm the glow plugs. The glow
plugs must be warmed for three to
four seconds prior to starting the
machine.

Be Sure the Ignition Key is in OFF
Position, or Even Removed, When the
Engine Is Not Running.
IMPORTANT
For Maximum Power While Working,
the Engine Should Be Running at
Full Throttle.
