8.2 FAQ
If you have any problem when installing and using the RCMS2902-2E1GE-BL, resolve the
problem with the following recommendations. If the problem is still not resolved, contact the
distributor for technical support.
8.2.1 Why is the PWR LED is off?
Check whether the power supply cable is connected properly.
Check whether the power supply switch on the chassis is ON.
8.2.2 Why is the LOS LED lighted up?
This indicates that a LOS alarm in Rx direction occurs at the optical interface.
Firstly, check whether the fiber is well connected to the optical interface.
Secondly, form a self loop using the fiber (may need attenuation). If the alarm still exists,
replace the fiber and again form a self loop using the new fiber. If the optical interface LOS
LED is still lighted up, there is problem with the RCMS2902-2E1GE-BL.
8.2.3 Why is the LNK/ACT LED off?
Check whether the Ethernet cable is disconnected.
Check whether the connected device works properly.
Confirm whether the wring of the used Ethernet cable is correct.
