Device Appearance
3.1 Device front panel description
8 100BASE-FX Ethernet interfaces, 1 expansion socket for sub cards, 1 CONSOLE interface and
dozens of status indicators are placed on the front panel of ISCOM2109F switch (see the figure
below).

In the figure shown above:

The logo and model of the switch are RAISECOM and ISCOM2109F respectively.

2 device status indicators: SYS and PWR.
Indicator Color Status Description
ON
The system is initializing after electrifying.
Flickering
The system is operating in order.
SYS Green
Other Status
Software fault.
ON
The system is electrified.
PWR Green
OFF
The system is not electrified.

8 100BASE-FX Ethernet interfaces and their corresponding status indicators. There are 2
indicators for an interface: LNK and ACT.
Indicator Color Status Description
ON
The corresponding port is in Link Up status.
LNK Green
OFF
The corresponding port is in Link Down status.
ON
No data forwarding at the corresponding port.
OFF
There are data forwarding at the corresponding
port.
ACT Green
OFF
The corresponding port is working in half duplex
mode or it is in Power OFF status.
