In the event of a collision (e.g. fall / bicycle fell over with the RainRider ), the RainRider must
be carefully examined or replaced. Please carry out a regular visual inspection for external
damage before every journey.
If the RainRider is subjected to heavy use and regular use in bad weather, please note that
aggressive environmental influences such as road salt in winter or salty sea air could clog the
surfaces of your RainRider. This cannot be prevented even by careful processing by the
manufacturer and weekly cleaning is absolutely necessary.
In wet weather, we recommend wiping the RainRider dry with a microfiber cloth / sponge
after every ride.
Care and cleaning:
Use only lukewarm water with a small amount of cleaning agent (e.g. motorcycle visor
cleaner) and a soft, clean microfiber cloth / sponge to avoid scratches. Never clean with
solvents, alcohol, hot water with alkaline additives and high-pressure cleaners.
Please never clean and care for your RainRider in the blazing sun to avoid damage to the
windshield.
When transporting the bike outside of a vehicle, the RainRider should also be removed and
carefully stowed in the backpack rucksack.

Guarantee / Warranty
The RainRider is an attachment for your bike that has been built using the latest technology.
Damage due to improper handling or assembly, inadequate care, environmental influences
are excluded from the guarantee.
The RainRider is to be used exclusively for private use. Damage caused by renting, leasing or
participating in competitions is completely excluded from the guarantee. The warranty
expires if you independently carry out repairs, conversions or other modifications to your
RainRider without consulting the manufacturer.
If a warranty claim occurs, SofttopBike GmbH has the option at its own discretion to repair
the defective component or to replace it with something of the same or higher value.
There is no entitlement to an identical color design. Non-defective components will only be
replaced at the expense of the warranty holder.
Wear parts are excluded from the guarantee if they are damaged by normal wear and tear.
Wear parts are in detail: The adapter plate, the entire textile cover with window and
reflective strips, Velcro fasteners, aluminum carbon rods of the skeleton structure, spacers,
adapter, roof stabilizer, locking hooks, swivel-folding locking joints.
