Operating The Stair

*  Using pole provided, hook into latch on face of door and pull to disengage. Pull door all the way down until it stops.
*  Stand back from stair and Insert hook into ring under the bottom tread.
*  Pull slowly until the bottom tread can be reached by hand. 
*  Lower stair to the ground and lock the section latches.

To Open Stair

*  Unlock the section latches.
*  Grab bottom section of stair and lift to begin folding the ladder.
*  When high enough, hook into ring on bottm step with pole and continue to lift and guide stair until fully folded on 
     the door.
*  Hook into latch on door with pole and push door all the way up until door latch engages and is secure.

To Close Stair

Maintenance and Periodic Inspections

The Rainbow attic ladders require very little maintenance.

It is nevertheless advisable to periodically check for proper functioning by visually inspecting the main parts and 
devices. Under normal use, please follow the maintenance plan indicated in the table below.

Note:  For more frequent or heavy use of the ladder, such as in commercial applications, it is recommended 
           that all periodic maintenance / inspection items be performed on a regular, three month basis.
