1. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

2. WORK AREA

Only use the tool on a stable, level, dry, non-slip surface which is capable of supporting the
load being attached.

Keep your work area clean, dry and well lit.
•
Do not expose the tool to rain or any other kind of bad weather.

Do not use the tool in the vicinity of fl ammable gases or liquids. Hydraulic tools can create
sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.

Anyone who does not wear appropriate safety equipment should stay away from the work
area.

Store the tool properly in a safe and dry location to prevent rust or damage.
•
Keep the tool out of the reach of children.
•
Avoid distractions around the work area as you otherwise may lose control of the tool.
3. PERSONAL SAFETY
CAUTION! ALWAYS WEAR PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT APPROVED BY DIN (GERMAN
INSTITUTE FOR STANDARDIZATION) WHEN OPERATING THE TOOL
Always wear proper non-conductive clothing and DIN approved protective equipment
during operation.
• Safety helmet
• Ear protection
• Safety goggles with frontal and side protection
• Face shield
• Dust mask or respirator
• Thick work gloves
• Work shoes with non-slip soles or steel-toed boots
