5. WEIGHING

Put a load on the scale pan. The result is ready to read after reaching
equilibrium (signalling diode marked by

).

After reading the result unload the pan. The indication returns to zero. For
two range scales switching between ranges appears automatically while
loading. The scale returns automatically to the first range accuracy after
returning to zero (autozero zone).

Weighing in the second range is signalled by a diode marked –

>|2|<

. If

after unloading the pan the indication is not zero press

0

key.

5.1. Tarring

For measuring the net mass of a load put a package/container on the pan
and press

TARE

(the display shows zero the signalling diode

is lit).

The maximal tare value can be equal to the maximal range.

A tare value is saved in non-volatile memory so it can be
remembered after powering down.

5.2. Zeroing

The zeroing range is within

 4%

of the maximal range around zero. If any

trial of zeroing is performed beyond the zeroing range

–Err 2-

appears on

the display

.

Zeroing is meant as setting a new zero value for measurements,
but it is cancelled after powering down. It can be performed only in
equilibrium state.
