Checking System Troubles
Your system emits a trouble tone and winks the OK light to alert
you to system trouble events. System troubles are caused by such
things as low batteries. Use this feature to learn what is causing the
trouble and what steps to take to correct it.
1. Make sure that your system is off (On light is off). If there is a
system trouble, the Trouble tone sounds and the OK light winks.
2. Press the
4
key. Lights 1 to 6 may turn on, depending on the
nature of the trouble. The following explains the meaning of the lights:

Fire-Point Trouble. Hold the

key to see which
points are in trouble.

Non-Fire Point Trouble. Hold the

key to see
which points are in trouble.

Power Trouble. Power to the system is off. System
is operating on battery only.

Communication Fail. Check the telephone line.

Service Required. Call your alarm company.

Alarm Memory. Hold the

key to view the points
that were in alarm.
3. Pressing the
CLEAR
key returns the system to the off display.
