Remove the mains plug from the mains socket if you want to switch the unit off completely.
If the unit is idle for 15 minutes in Auxiliary Input mode, it will automatically switch to power
saving mode. Press the button to resume.
Basic Operation
Switching ON/OFF
Press on the unit or on the remote control to switch the unit between the ON and
STANDBY modes.
Selecting Modes
Press MODE on the unit or on the remote control to switch between DAB radio, FM radio,
Auxiliary Input and Bluetooth.
Adjusting the Volume
Turn / – dial on the unit or press VOL + / – on the remote control to increase/
decrease the volume.
If you want to mute the sound, turn VOLUME – dial on the unit or press MUTE on the
remote control. Turn / – dial on the unit or VOL + / – on the remote control to
resume audio listening.
Automatically Setting the Clock
The clock can be set and updated automatically if you can receive DAB / FM signals in your
location. In order for the clock to synchronise to the current local time you must leave it on
one DAB / FM station for a short period of time.
Alarm
Ensure the time and date is set before you can activate the alarm function, please refer the
section “Setting the Time and Date” for details.
Setting the Daily Timer
1. Ensure the unit is turned ON (not in STANDBY mode), press ALARM repeatedly on the
unit to select Alarm 1 Setup or Alarm 2 Setup,

will flash on the display. Press
SCROLL & SELECT on the unit or press OK on the remote control to confirm.
2. Turn the SCROLL & SELECT dial to select Alarm On, then press SCROLL & SELECT on
the unit or press OK on the remote control to confirm. Otherwise select Alarm Off to
disable the alarm.
3. Turn the SCROLL & SELECT dial to adjust the alarm time, then press SCROLL & SELECT
on the unit or press OK on the remote control to confirm.
4. Turn the SCROLL & SELECT dial to select alarm duration (15/30/45/60/90 minutes),
then press SCROLL & SELECT on the unit or press OK on the remote control to confirm.
