1. Intented use and properties

The four channel fiber-optic pulse receiver RLWE 4161 is appropriated for a nonreactive fan
out of four optical pulse signals into eight synchronous TTL and NIM output signals.
This device is designed for operation with optical signal sources transmitting at nominal
850 nm wave length. At rear side of this product input signals can be coupled into the device
via FSMA fiber cable receptacles. There are four 50 Ω output signal domains. CH1 and CH3
with four TTL signal outputs each and two further output domains (CH2 and CH4) for four NIM
output signals which can be used in parallel. Optical channels 1 and 2 and channels 3 and 4
resp. can be connected to the electrical output channels CH1 and CH2 ans CH3 and CH4
resp. optionally straight forward or crossed-over. TTL channels as well as NIM channels
provide three non-inverting outputs and one inverting output.
This device is supplied by an internal power supply which is operated by means of mains
voltages in the range of 100 VAC bis 240 VAC.

The 4-channel pulse divider RLWE 4161 is for indoor use only!
