voluntarily participating in an in-
dustry program to collect and recycle these
batteries at the end of their useful life, when
taken out of service in the United States or
Canada. The RBRC program provides a con-
venient alternative to placing used Ni-Cd bat-
teries into the trash or the municipal waste
stream, which may be illegal in your area.

Charging Rechargeable Batteries

Before using your headphones for the first
time, you must charge the headphones’ bat-
teries for at least 24 hours. If the headphones’
range decreases or you do not hear sound
from the audio source, recharge the batteries.
It takes 12 to 14 hours to completely recharge
the batteries.

1. If necessary, press

POWER ON/OFF

 to

turn off the headphones.

Note: You cannot charge the batteries
with the headphones turned on.

2. Plug the supplied charging cable with a

3.5 mm mono plug at each end into the

CHARGE

 jack on the left earpiece.

3. Plug the other end of the charging cable

into the transmitter base’s

CHARGE

 jack.

The indicator beside the jack on the
transmitter base lights.

4. When charging is complete, unplug the

charging cable. The indicator beside the
jack on the transmitter base turns off.
