Sailing the Submarine

1.

Press

ON/OFF

 on the transmitter.

2.

Press the periscope on the submarine to turn it
on. The light on the front and top of the
submarine turns on.

3.

Hold the submarine tail (do not touch propellers)
and immerse it in water for about four seconds
so that water covers the periscope, and the air
inside the submarine is released.

4.

Release the submarine to move forward.

5.

Use the transmitter buttons to control
submarine movement.

6.

When you finish sailing, press

ON/OFF

on the

submarine to turn it off. Remove batteries from
the submarine and transmitter. Empty all water
from the submarine’s hull and dry thoroughly.
Leave the submarine’s battery compartment
open to let moisture evaporate.

DOWN - Makes the
submarine dive.

RIGHT - Steers the
submarine right.

ON/OFF - Turns
the transmitter on

and off.

UP - Makes the submarine surface.

LEFT - Steers the
submarine left.

As with any product designed to be used in and around water, children playing

with this toy should be supervised by an ADULT.

Do not use the submarine in strong currents, in salt water, or in any body of

water with large waves.

Never touch the propellers while they are spinning.

Never play with the submarine in strong winds or during a thunderstorm.

Do not let the submarine dive more than 3 feet (1 meter). You might lose control of it.

Be careful not to wade into deep water or strong currents while playing with

the submarine. When the submarine goes outside the transmitter’s control

range, hold the transmitter as high as possible with the antenna vertical to

reestablish contact. If you cannot, move closer to the submarine then try again.

Always turn on the transmitter first, then the submarine. Always turn off the

submarine first, then the transmitter. Otherwise, your submarine might pick up

other radio waves and start moving while the transmitter is off. If this happens,

immediately turn on the transmitter to bring the submarine under control.

Do not let the submarine run aground. Keep it away from grass growing in the

water and other debris that could cause propeller damage. These items can

jam the propellers and stop the submarine away from the shore.

When the batteries begin to lose power, the submarine slows down. To be

sure the submarine can make it back to the shore, always guide it in as soon

as you notice it slowing down.

Do not leave your submarine in the water when you finish playing. Water

might seep into the hull and damage electronic parts.

To use your R/C Submarine for a long time:

Never play with your submarine in salt water;

doing so might rust or corrode its parts.

Use and store the submarine only in normal

temperature environments.

Handle the submarine gently and carefully; do

not drop it.

Keep the submarine away from dust and dirt.

Use a clean towel to wipe the submarine dry

after playing with it.

Do not use chemicals to clean the submarine

as they can damage the body.

Care

Running your submarine for a long time generates high heat levels. To help keep heat levels down, when your submarine’s batteries die, let it cool

for at least 10 minutes before installing fresh batteries.

If the submarine runs but does not steer, move closer to the submarine and try again.

If somebody uses a CB radio nearby, it might interfere with the submarine. If this happens, move the submarine away from the CB.

You cannot operate the submarine near devices with transmitters that use the same frequency as your submarine (27 MHz or 49 MHz). Check
the box to see which frequency you have.
