Touch
the
thermocouples
probe
to
the
object
you
want to test.
Wait until
the
reading
stabilizes.
Note:
+
Apply
coolant
to
the metal head
of
the
thermocouple's probe
to quicken
the
process of temperature detection.
+
When
the
device's
temperature
is
above
140°F (60°C),
remove the thermocouple
once
the
reading stabilizes. The
thermocouple cannot
work
at
high
temperature
for
extended periods
of
time.
Replacing
the
Fuses
If
the
meter
stops
working,
replace
one or both of the fuses.
The spare
250V/500mA sand-filled ceramic
fuse,
and 250V/12A
sand-filed
ceramic
fuse
are
stored
in
the
holders
inside
the cabinet near the top of
the
meter.
1.
Turn
off
the
meter and
disconnect
the
test
leads.
2.
Loosen
the
three screws from
the
back
cover and gently
pull
apart
the
case.
3.
Pullthe red
ribbon
to pop out
the
fuse.
4.
Remove
the
spare fuse from
the
plastic
holder and insert
it into
the
fuse
holder through
the
loop
of
the
attached
ribbon.
Check
the
rating
of
the
fuse
carefully and
choose
the
proper one.
5.
Replace
the
back cover and secure
it
with
the
screws.
