listening to AM/FM radio. Please read this user's guide before 

using your radio.

Install Batteries

1.

 

Open the battery cover.

2.

 

Install three AA batteries (not included) as indicated by the 

polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside.

3.

 

Replace the battery cover.

Note: 

 • When 

and the readings in the radio's RADIO/TIME display 

flash, replace the batteries.

 • In battery-powered mode, the LED backlight lights blue 

when you press any radio button. It then turns off after 5 

seconds to save the battery power.

 • Dispose of batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn or 

bury them.

 • Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type.
 •

Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries 

(alkaline or rechargeable), or rechargeable batteries of 

different capacities.

 •

If you do not plan to use the radio for a long time, remove 

the batteries. Batteries can leak chemicals that can damage 

electronic parts.

Dim the LED Backlight

You can adjust the brightness of the LED by setting 

DIMMER 

to 

LOW

HIGH

Set up the Wireless Sensor

Install Batteries

1.

 

Slide open the battery cover.

2.

 

Insert two AA batteries (not included) in the battery 

compartment matching the polarity symbols (+ and -) 

marked inside.

3.

 

Replace the battery cover.

Power your Radio

The radio can be powered by AC power and by batteries. When 

it is powered by AC power, batteries can act as a backup power 

source for power outages. Settings and data memory will be 

lost if both AC is out and batteries are removed,

 • Connect the supplied AC adapter cable into the radio's 

power port, and plug the adapter into a standard AC 

outlet. The LCD backlit display lights blue.
