Weather Forecast

The radio calculates the weather forecast for the next 12 to 24 

hours, and it displays the current indoor/outdoor temperature 

and humidity readings.
When you power on the radio, wait for about 1 minute to 

receive an outdoor signal from the remote sensor.

If AC power is interrupted and you have not installed backup 

batteries, the radio will begin searching for a signal.

Listen to an External Audio Source

1.

 

Press and hold

 to turn on the radio.

Use a 1/8" (3.5 mm) audio cable (not included) to 

connect the earphone jack on your auxiliary audio 

source to 

AUX IN

 jack on the back of the radio.

3.

 Press 

AM/FM

 repeatedly until the radio's RADIO/TIME 

display shows AUX to select auxiliary mode.

4.

 

Use the controls on your connected device to control 

the volume. 

5.

 

When finished, disconnect the audio cable, press and 

hold AM/FM to turn the radio off.

Reset

1.

   Switch off the radio, remove the batteries, and unplug 

the adapter.

2.

 

Using a pointed object (such as the end of paper clip or 

pen), press the 

RESET

 hole for at least 1 second to reset 

the radio to its default factory settings (with 5 AM and 5 

FM presets). 

3.

 

Replace batteries or reconnect your adapter and turn on 

the radio.

Place the Remote Sensor

Place the sensor on a flat surface within 90 feet (27.43 

m) of your radio, in an open area free from trees or other 

obstructions.

To mount the sensor on a wall:

1.

 

Select a position that is not higher than 5 feet (1.5 m) on an 

outdoor wall.

2.

 

Drill a hole at the position.

3.

 

Thread a screw (not included) into the 

hole and let it extend slightly from the 

wall.

4.

 

Fit the head of the screw into the keyhole 

slot of the sensor.

Note:

 • When 

and the readings 

flash on the radio's OUTDOOR display, replace the batteries 

in the sensor.

 •

Before mounting the wireless sensor, verify the radio can 

receive signals from the chosen location. Move the sensor 

closer if the radio does not receive any signals.

 •

Do not block vents. Do not submerge the sensor in water. 

Avoid exposing the sensor to direct rain, snow, or sunlight. 

Remove the sensor from outdoors in extreme or harsh weather. 

Do not place the sensor in areas of high winds.
