Das RT451 Modul besitzt einen Verpolungs-
schutz. Stecken Sie das Kabel wie abgebildet
zuerst in den Wannenstecker des Moduls. Die
Kabelbuchsen besitzen eine rechteckige
Kerbe, die exakt in die Aussparung des
Wannensteckers passt. Wie Sie sehen
werden, ist die rote Markierung des Kabels
automatisch an der unteren Seite des Sockels
und somit bereits passend zur Busplatine
gedreht.
Installing of the RT451 filter
Before installing the module you should
disconnect the power source from the
eurorack case.
We recommend to check the current
consumption of the all modules including the
RT451 filter in your eurorack case and
compare that with the current rating of the
case. You can calculate the overall current
consumption by simply building the sum of all
positive, negative and the 5 Volt current. The
RT451 needs 80mA of the +12 Volt, 80 mA
for the -12 Volt line but 0.0 mA from the 5
Volt line. Compare the sum of all currents
with the current rating of your modular case.
Einbau des RT451 Filters
Bevor Sie mit dem Einbau des Moduls
beginnen, sollten Sie den Netzstecker
beziehungsweise das Netzteil abziehen.
Überschlagen Sie als nächstes den Strom-
bedarf aller im Gehäuse installierten Module
plus des neuen RT451 Filters (12 V 80mA,
-12 Volt 80mA). Zum Überschlagen der
Stromaufnahme addieren Sie einfach einmal
für die positiven und einmal für die negativen
Spannungen alle Einzelströme zusammen.
In der Regel sollte der Strombedarf aller
Module unterhalb dessen liegen, was das
Gehäuse zu liefern in der Lage ist.
The connector at the RT451 module features
a protection against reverse polarity. It is not
possible to connect the cable the wrong way
into that socket. The red marking of the cable
is at the bottom of the ribbon cable after
inserting it into the socket. That makes it
easy to insert it with the correct orientation
into the power distribution bus of the case.
